Learning Highlights:
Math: First graders wrapped up their mini unit on coding. We shared and solved our coded word problems. Students enjoyed getting a chance to use Scratch Jr. to code. It is a free download if you want to continue to use it at home.
Second Graders wrapped up their unit on adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers.
Literacy- This week we wrapped up and shared our Reader’s Theater. Students shared their mini plays with our class. It was amazing to hear how every student improved with their fluency!
Writing: Students worked on their pieces about a favorite place to visit. We have quite the variety of places from Mexico, Get Air, Jay Peak and even the Comfort Inn!
