Jericho Settler's Farm Trip

Our first graders got an up close look at a business in our community today! This was a perfect trip because we not only met a community helper and toured our town, but we also learned more about plants!  Our class helped farmer Krista plant lettuce in her fields. We then toured her farm.  A highlight for us was helping to catch the runaway chicks!  Thank you to all the families that volunteered today!

We also made plant part burritos and went on a farm scavenger hunt!
