What a great week back at school! We had amazing weather at Cochran’s and had a fantastic time! We are enjoying moving seats and being able to use our rug for stories again!
Here are the highlights from our short week:
Fantastic skiing and riding at Cochran’s
Started a new math unit focusing on computation
Practiced sight words that we have been working on
Wrote new sections on our animal reports
Practiced kindness! Ask your learner about bucket filling!
Learned that we are the boss of our own reading! If you see a word you don’t know, Stop and try a strategy to solve it!
Next week we will:
Start beginning blends with phonics
Add new sight words
Work on selecting the most efficient strategy to solve the math problem
Continue with social lessons on kindness and self regulation
Add more time to our read to self to help build our stamina
Start our Health lessons with Nurse Hadley
