Learning highlights from the week:
Math- First graders are working on composing and decomposing 2 and 3 digit numbers. We are learning to add and subtract using place value strategies.
Second graders wrapped up their assessments this week. We will be starting a new unit when we return.
Reading- Students reviewed magic “e” and “r” controlled vowels this week. Most students wrapped up their book group books and read short passages to end the week.
Science- Students brought home their cattle beans! We wrapped our unit on plants finishing with a lesson on seed structures.
