How We Measure Up!

Our First Graders are learning all about units of measure.  Today we measured tape lines using our feet!  We had a great discussion about why some kids got higher numbers than others on the same line.  We learned that the smaller the unit, the more it will take to measure the line.  First graders with smaller feet needed more "kid steps" to measure the same line as a person with bigger feet!  Such a smart group of kiddos!
